Enterprise Nation LIVE video Business Start Up Event
So Quest4Success enjoys participating in and attending London's best events for Entrepreneurs and Small businesses. To my dismay Enterprise Nation's first Start Up event for 2015 was a complete sell out, and I was unable to secure tickets ~ even weeks ahead of the event.
FORTUNATELY there was a LIVE video link for those of us unable to attend and I was able to watch the contents of the day from the comfort of my own home....... #bliss ~ especially given the rain and cold weather on Saturday 17th January.
The link was clear and audible and it felt like I had front row tickets for the workshops which were recording for us to watch LIVE. I got up and personal with them with my Ginger & Lemon tea, feet up and central heating on blast and loved each of the keynote talks.
I particularly enjoyed the "Make your business dream a reality" Q&A which was filled with humour and testimonies from a range of small businesses and successful entrepreneurs.
The hold music was suprisingly upbeat and actually decent (*Call centres should take note), and they managed to keep me glued to the link for over SIX hours despite the 10-15 minute change around of speakers. I soon worked out it was in my best interest to watch from home in this instance as audience members were not able to sit throughout the sessions - an audience change was done each time the sessions changed.
The BBC Apprentice Team were actually quiet good and despite technology failing on her, Melody Hossaini handled it like a G and led a interactive and engaging session, followed by Solomon - the novice that actually got further than he probably should have in last years show. His attire was just as quirky and bizarre as him and he couldn't help throwing a few digs at Felipe, the friendly cuddly Lawyer that got into his stride as he went on. Some great tips and advise was shared much to my delight.
The link is pretty long but fortunately for those of you that watch it, you'll be able to fast forward on the link, unlike I was able to - the programme agenda below can give you your benchmark on how far to forward too if you want to go to a particular key note. I managed to listen for the full duration LIVE so am obviously recommending you have a watch too.
123 Reg gave some useful tips and advise as did Richard Morass, the founder of Moo - hearing his humble story puts 'starting from the bottom' into perspective and I highly recommend watching that particular Keynote too.
The Host, Emma Jones is always a joy to watch - a natural presenter and people's person, engaging with each of the Keynote speakers with ease, making the whole event a delight to watch.
If I'm ever left out in the cold for one of their many events this year - due to its ever growing audience - I will happily watch the LIVE links from the comfort of home. It was great to have feedback on the show via the Quest4Success Facebook fanpage too, and great to know I was not the only one enjoying it.
The programme was as follows. Let us know your thoughts on it......
