Social Media Workshops
Training businesses and creative people how to maximise using Social Media Networks for projects and business. In groups of 5 or less, you will be trained in any of your desired Social Media Networks at varying levels.
Workshops range from Beginner (£39), Intermediate (£49), Advanced (from £59) and PRO (1:1s for 1 hour at £75) in each of the following networks Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, Hootsuite, Blogging, Graphics for Social Media posts (Canva & PicMonkey) and Mailchimp for Email Marketing.
Workshops for 2016 will be held in our meeting rooms in Impact Hub Brixton based in Pop Brixton and will last 2.5hrs each. Previous workshops were held in Southbank University during 2015 for established Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses.

With 5 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic features in the beginners class to advanced power editor ad features in the PRO class.
Beginners: For people new to Facebook - creating your A/c, Navigating across Facebook,
Intermediate: Look at pros and cons of personal vs business/fan page, how to navigate around and engage with people on facebook.
Business: Monitoring stats for business pages, scheduling & backdating posts effectively. Creating a following, Call to action button + more

Twitter for Business
With 3 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic features in the beginners class to advanced advert features in the Advanced class.
Beginners: Masterclass for people new to Twitter. Look at pros and cons of micro blogging in 140 characters or less, Learn how to navigate around twitter, Discover the ins and outs of Twitter, creating your brand and engaging with your audience.
Intermediate: For those familiar with Twitter already. Using lists effectively, learn how to effectively promote brands, hidden advantages of hashtags, engage customers, pinning tweets, polls, driving site traffic and connecting Twitter to your other networks.
Advanced: Market researching your audience, peers and competitors, multiple accounts, how to attract your audience, creating widgets, using adverts for business and growth.
LinkedIn for Business
With 5 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic features in the beginners class to advanced target marketing in the PRO class.
Beginners: Masterclass for people new to LinkedIn. Learn how to navigate around LinkedIn, Creating your visual and written brand and engaging with your audience, reading and leaving messages
Intermediate: Understanding endorsements and recommendations, look at pros & cons of business vs personal profiles, market researching your audience & peers.
Business: Creating and monitoring a business page, engaging in groups effectively, controlling your online visability, monitoring your analytics, creating blogs in Pulse.
Advanced: How to attract & find your audience, creating your own group, using adverts.
PRO: Target marketing using Ads and lead generating. This is done on a 1 on 1 capacity
Instagram for Business
With 4 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic features in the beginners class to advanced advert features in the Advanced class.
Beginners: Masterclass for people new to Instagram. Learn how to navigate around Instagram, Discover the ins and outs of Instagram, create your visual brand.
Intermediate: For those familiar with Instagram already. Engaging with potential customers your audience, Understanding the importance of hashtags.
Business: Scheduling posts, Top hashatags, Group messaging, Analytics/Tracking A/Cs
Advanced: Using adverts, using adverts with facebook, optimizing your profile, Embed photos, badges, widgets & feed to website, Guest talk with Guest Instagram Influencer Jayde Pierce - Insta Celebrity with 1/2 million followers sharing INSTA tips.
Email Marketing for Business
With 4 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic to advanced features in email marketing.
Beginners: Introduction to email marketing, Creating mailchimp account, Learn how to create a categorised database to store email addresses, Create basic newsletter
Intermediate - Importing emails from 3rd party platforms, Create campaign with social follows and add additional pictures, text, dividers etc
Business - Monitoring previous campaigns, Creating links for people to purchase products and/or book your events and adding videos
Advanced - Duplicating campaigns to edit and send to other lists, Add mobile App to monitor results, Add Image Groups, Introduction to Split testing.
Hootsuite for Business
With 2 varying levels for this workshop, candidates are taught everything from basic features in the beginners class to advanced features in the Advanced class.
Beginners: Creating your A/c, Navigating across Hootsuite, Connecting your
networks, Create and view streams for multiple networks, Schedule posts in advance.
Intermediate: Creating and naming multiple streams, creating csv files for bulk posting, Scheduling Bulk posting, Respond instantly to social media mentions
Business: Monitor what people say about your brand, Monitoring Analytics, Connect to LinkedIn, YouTube & Google+, Using the Mobile App, Monitoring competitiors & brands
Advanced: Create several users and monitor/edit posts accordingly, Repurposing content
Graphics for Flyers & Social Media
Beginners: Masterclass for people new to using CANVA. Create a Social Media post and include own images and logos. Insert and edit text and additional images or graphics.
Intermediate: Creating flyers for events, Choosing and editing templates, Adding shaprs, borders & Backgrounds
Bonus: Masterclass for people new to using PicMonkey. Add Gold font, background and shapes to images, flyers or posts. Manipulate images to create brand new graphics, add overlays, frames, sparkles, textures, bursts, watermarks + more
Business: Create Website Banners & Images, Creating Booklets, Re-sizing documents
Advanced: Create Logos, Facebook Ad images and design infographs for your business
Create your own Website (9 w/shops)
Classes will be 3 hours long and a maximum of 5 people per class. Workbooks provided
Not all classes need to be taken, just join in the relevant workshop based on your skills and experience with website planning and creating.
